1990’s supermodel Niki Taylor and husband, Nascar driver Burney Lamar are expecting their first child together, a baby girl due in early March. The pair were married in 2006 and currently live in Tennessee. Taylor, 33, is already mom to 13-year old twin boys, Jake and Hunter, with ex-husband Matt Martinez.

Taylor hosts the series Make me a Supermodel, which premiered in January, 2008 and is due to air again on Bravo sometime in 2009.

The model has been through a lot in her life, including the asthma-related death of her younger sister, Krissy, at age 17, an early marriage, divorce and motherhood at age 20, and a life-threatening car accident she experienced in 2001.

Because of complications from severe liver damage which resulted from this accident, Taylor is unable to receive an epidural during child birth. She is quoted as saying that in light of all she has endured in her life time, she could certainly handle natural child birth as well.

The new little bundle on the way must have particularly deep meaning to the model and her husband, in light of the fact that Taylor lost a sister at such a young age and nearly lost her own life as a young woman.

Having twin boys at the age of twenty is quite a different experience from expecting a baby girl at the age of 33. It is truly a chance for renewed happiness and a new beginning for Taylor and Lamar. Jake and Hunter will likely be proud and protective older brothers.

After all she has been through, Taylor will surely savor every moment with her new baby girl.

Recently supermodel Naomi Campbell revealed that she had been infertile, and that her condition had been corrected through surgery. She told People magazine, ?They thought it was a cyst but when they opened it up they realized it was more. I was not able to have children up until March?. The catwalk darling who is dating Russian businessman, Vladislav Doronin, was first reported to have had surgery in Brazil in March 2008.

She spoke about her personal struggle during a recent fashion event. ?Now it’s in God’s hands. I would love to have a family but it’s up to God. I do want to have kids. I’m 38 years old,” she said. Now that the surgery has successfully resolved her infertility issues, her dreams of starting a family can now be realized.

Aside from ruling the catwalk, Campbell is also a singer, author, actress and fashion designer. Her company, Design House of Naomi Campbell has so far created seven fragrances for women. Most recently she has been in the news for her legal troubles, with the most recent incident involving being arrested at Heathrow airport on April 3, 2008, on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

Hopefully the good news about Campbell?s successful surgery will provide some inspiration for infertile couples, and remind them not to give up. One can only wonder if there will soon be a future runway star in the making.
