<p><strong>Hazard</strong>: The stroller&#8217;s restraint buckle could break or unlatch allowing the child or infant to fall out.</p>

<p>Description: This recall involves Baby Jogger City Mini single and double strollers. &#8216;City Mini&#8217; is printed on the stroller. Item numbers and date codes included in this recall are listed in the chart below along with stroller colors. The item number is printed on a sticker on the rear wheel crossbar. The manufacturing date code is engraved on the frame behind the rear wheel axle crossbar or on the back of the frame on the upright bar between the right rear wheel and the seat.<br />

<p><strong>Hazard: </strong>The hinges that hold the stair gate in place can break, posing a fall hazard to children if the gate is placed at the top of the stairs.</p>
<p>Incidents/Injuries: None reported.</p>
<p>Description: The recall involves the Safety 1st SmartLight Stair Gate with model number 42111, which is printed on a sticker under the handle panel. The gates, which were manufactured before December 20, 2008, are white metal with a gray handle and a motion sensor nightlight that illuminates on approach. The manufacture date is located below the gate&#8217;s handle as a date wheel imprinted in the plastic; an arrow indicates the month, and the year is stamped inside the circle. The manufacture date is also printed on a sticker inside the battery door.</p>
<p>Sold at: Mass merchandise and juvenile product stores nationwide, including Babies R Us, Toys R Us, Wal-Mart.com and other online retailers from January 2005 through July 2009 for about $60.</p>

<p><strong>Remedy:</strong> Consumers should stop using the recalled gate and contact the company to obtain a free repair kit.</p>

<p><strong>Hazard:</strong> The play yard’s side rail can fail to latch properly and when a child pushes against the rail it can unlatch unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard to children.</p>
<p>Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received 347 reports of sides of the play yard collapsing unexpectedly, resulting in 21 injuries to young children, including bumps, scrapes, bruises and one concussion.</p>
<p><strong>Description:</strong> This recall involves the Kolcraft Travelin’ Tot play yards, as well as other similar play yards manufactured for Carter’s, Sesame Street, Jeep, Contours, Care Bare and Eric Carle, with model numbers listed below. Some of the units have a bassinet and/or changing table. Some models have a mobile, vibrating unit or a parent organizer. Model numbers are printed on a white sticker on one of the feet of the play yard.</p>
<p>Sold at: Babies R Us, Walmart, Kmart, Sears, Target and other stores nationwide and Internet retailers from January 2000 through January 2009 for between $50 and $160.</p>

<p>Incidents/Injuries: Evenflo has received 11 reports of dislodged end caps which resulted in nine minor injuries, including bumps and bruises. Evenflo has also received a report of a dislodged end cap that resulted in a child suffering a broken collarbone in Canada.</p>
<p>Description: The recall involves Evenflo ExerSaucer Triple Fun stationary activity centers made between October 2006 and December 2008. The model number is 6231711. Stage 3 position involves converting the product into an activity table. No other ExerSaucer models use end caps and, therefore, no other models are included in this recall.</p>
<p>Sold at: Juvenile product and mass merchandise stores nationwide, including Toys &#8216;R Us and Burlington Baby Depot, from October 2006 through February 2009 for about $120.</p>

<p>Name of Product: Baby Walkers</p>
<p>Units: About 800</p>
<p>Manufacturer: My Way Corp., of San Juan, Puerto Rico</p>
<p>Hazard: The walkers violate the baby walker voluntary standard and can fit through a standard doorway and are not designed to stop at the edge of a step. Babies using these walkers can be seriously injured or killed.</p>
<p>Incidents/Injuries: None reported.</p>
<p>Description: The recalled walkers were sold for babies 6 months and older. The walkers were sold in the following colors: pink, red, green, blue, and ivory. The walkers have an activity tray with a steering wheel and other toys. ?My Way Corp? is printed on a sticker on the front of the walker.</p>
<p>Sold at: Independent discount stores in Puerto Rico from November 2004 through March 2008 for between $18 and $25.</p>
<p>Manufactured in: China</p>
<p>Remedy: Consumers should stop using these walkers immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund.</p>

<p>Hazard: Due to sizing problems with the crib?s hardware, the drop side can come off the tracks. When the drop side detaches or partially detaches, it creates a hazardous gap, which can lead to infant entrapment and suffocation.</p>
<p>Incidents/Injuries: SFCA and CPSC are aware of nine incidents in which the drop side detached on cribs that are part of this recall. There have been no injuries.</p>
<p>Description: This recall of Simplicity drop side cribs involves models that used a different style of hardware from those cribs recalled in September 2007. The recalled model numbers include: 8620, 8745, 8748, 8755, 8756, 8778, 8810, and 8994. The recalled drop side cribs have a date code, which can be found on a label on the headboard under the mattress support, which ends in 05DH, 05GB, 06DH, 06GB, 07DH or 07GB  examples: 1806 DH or 0507 GB . The recalled model NAMEs include: Aspen and Crib N Changer Combo, Gabrielle, Camille, Providence and Shenandoah. Only the brand NAME ?Simplicity? can be seen on the label on the headboard.<img class="size-full wp-image-5422 alignleft" style="border: 0pt none; float: left; margin: 5px;" title="Simplicity Brand Drop Side Cribs Recalled" src="http://blogs.babiesonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/simplicity-brand-drop-side-cribs-recalled-2.gif" alt="" width="150" height="123" /></p>

<p>Name of Product: Playsafe Spinning Quad Merry-Go-Rounds<img class="alignright alignnone size-full wp-image-3116" style="border: 0pt none; margin: 5px; float: right;" title="Recalled by Pacific Cycle Due to Fall Hazard" src="http://blogs.babiesonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/childrens-merry-go-rounds-toys-r-us-recalled-pacific-cycle-due-fall-hazard.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="140" /></p>
<p>Units: About 15,000</p>
<p>Manufacturer: Pacific Cycle Inc., of Madison, Wis.</p>
<p>Hazard: The inner bearing on the merry-go-round can fail, causing the seat assembly to suddenly drop to the ground. This poses a fall hazard to children riding the merry-go-round.</p>
<p>Incidents/Injuries: Pacific Cycle has received one report of an injury involving the merry-go- round, which resulted in a fall and abrasions to a child.</p>
<p>Description: The Playsafe Spinning Quad Merry-Go-Round has four yellow plastic seats and black and silver metal bars.</p>
<p>Sold exclusively by: Toys R Us nationwide between January 2008 through March 2008 for between $80 and $100.</p>
<p>Manufactured in: China</p>
<p>Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the merry-go-round away from children and return it to Toys R Us for a full refund, or contact Pacific Cycle to receive a free retrofit kit.</p>

<p>Name of Product: Ellaroo Ring Sling Baby Carrriers</p>
<p>Units: About 1,200</p>
<p>Manufacturer: Ellaroo LLC, of McKinney, Texas</p>
<p>Hazard: The aluminum rings on the sling carriers can bend or break. This can cause the fabric to slip through the rings and infants to fall out of the carrier.</p>
<p>Incidents/Injuries: Ellaroo has received four reports of the rings bending and two reports of rings breaking. No injuries have been reported.</p>
<p>Description: This recall includes Ellaroo Ring Sling baby carriers with item numbers 2101 and 2102 printed on the outside of the product box. The Ellaroo Ring Sling has a fabric carrier with two aluminum rings that is worn by the user to carry an infant up to 35 pounds. The carriers are sold in mahogany, mango stone, brasilia and malay color prints. Only sling carriers with lot numbers 03/07 and 07/04 printed on a label, under the size label, inside the Ring Sling are included in the recall.</p>
<p>Sold at: Juvenile product and department stores nationwide and online, including BabiesRUs.com, from June 2007 through February 2008 for about $100.</p>
<p>Manufactured in: India</p>
<p>Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the sling carriers and contact Ellaroo for instructions on returning the carriers for a repair or replacement Ring Sling.</p>
