I absolutely whooped when I saw the news because I am (am, not was) an unabashed Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan. I was thrilled when she married the handsome Prinze-charming (pun intended).  And now after six years of marriage , they are finally expecting.  Freddie Prinze Jr., 32 and Sarah Michelle Gellar, 31 are due some time in the fall.  Though the news comes from a credible source, no direct announcement has yet come from the very private couple.  I wonder if a play-date will be set up with Satyana Denisof , Buffy alum Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof’s child? Or with ex Angel aka David Boreanza’s child due this September.

Breaking news on Associated Press reveals that 37-year old Ethan Hawkes has confirmed through Hawkes? publicist Mara Buxbaum that he and girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes are expecting their first child. Shawhughes used to be the family nanny while Hawkes was still married to actress Uma Thurman, with whom he has two children, Maya, 9, and Levon, 6.
