The study considered several risk factors for cardiovascular disease including obesity, smoking rates and general health statistics.</p>
<p>And the winner is&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.goredforwomen.org/news_items.aspx">Minneapolis-St. Paul</a></p>
<p>Among mega cities with a population equal or greater than 1.5 million, St. Paul has &#8220;the lowest cardiac mortality and hypertension and highest exercise rates in the country.&#8221;</p>
<p>St Paul is follwed by Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD-WV and San Francisco-San Jose-Oakland, CA.</p>
<p>At the other end if the scale, Nashville-Davidson&#8211;Murfreesboro, TN, sadly, is deemed to be the least heart-friendly city.</p>
<p>For smaller cities, Salt Lake City (UT) and Boulder (CO) top the list.</p>
