Is the Mommybar Toolbar Worth Downloading?
If you are anything like me you like convenience. As a writer and researcher I have found that it saves me time when I have various toolbars downloaded right to my computer. Right now I have three different toolbars right there every time I log on to the Internet ? which is almost always.
When I heard about The Mommybar, I wavered just a little bit wondering if I really needed another toolbar although this was different and directly connected to my writing. I do blog about babies and children and to top it off I?m a mommy. Figuring that there was no harm in trying, and I could always uninstall it if it was a waste of space, I decided to try it.
Know what? I?m glad I did. What other toolbar gives me so much for so little? It really does have a list of great websites for parents right there on the toolbar in a convenient drop-down menu. It has three of the most popular websites about kids in addition to a few more, some I never heard of. The list of blogs dealing with raising children and dealing with parenting is way too much to list.
The availability of a Google search box won?t really make that big a difference to cyber sleuths like me since I already have that. It will come in handy for those surfers who don’t though.
My favorite feature on the Mommybar toolbar is the one that includes a daily calorie counter, a to-do list, a unit converter (which I need daily) and loads of online games such as Sodoku and the New York Times Classic Crossword. Unfortunately, this drop-down menu is not prominently displayed, at least not on my browser. With all the neat features it offers it should be readily identifiable on the toolbar.
My advice, The Mommybar toolbar is a winner and is definitely worth a try.
