I have one of these covers, and at $35 a pop (or higher, plus tax), they’re not cheap. Especially for parents who are facing other newborn expenses like cribs, strollers, diapers, etc. But nursing moms are already apt to feel worn out and dull; here’s an opportunity to look a little bit stylish when nursing in public.
What do I like about these covers? I mean, there are nursing covers for half the price in other stores, right? Well, these covers are lightweight so they won’t stifle the little one when its warm. There’s a convenient stiff opening a the top so you can keep your eye on the baby. One corner of the cover has a terry cloth in the underside with a little pocket so you can put a pacifier in there. But the most important thing to this Mama? The stylish patterns. It’s also independently owned and I’m always up for supporting independent entrepreneurs.
Bottom line: for me these are worth it. Put it on your registry list for a baby shower gift, and for those who were thinking of the perfect gift for a mom-to-be, take note. Of course check if the mom-to-be is planning to nurse first.
Tip: There are links on the right-hand side of the page for adding these items to a wedding or baby registry.
