We picked out her name way before. It went through some changes but we love her name now...my husband though kept wanting to name her Sophie instead of her name now right up to the time we had to fill our her name at the hospital! We settled on my original choice.

Our DD was born in May. We didn't know the sex until March at a final ultrasound. DH and I could not agree on names. Finally, we sat in Books A Million for over an hour. I got a baby name book, started with the A's and called out names through the alphabet. We debated over several until we got to the S's. We finally settled on Sierra.

We are the same way - we have two darling little girls and had their names picked out way in advance, but we still have no boys names that we would consider if and when we have baby #3.

Why is it that one gender is so hard to name?
