Fun Ways to Announce Your Pregnancy

Many women simply tell their family and friends about their pregnancies. However, some want to tell others about it in a unique and fun way. Here are some fun ways to announce your pregnancy.
- Send a picture message of the pregnancy test
- Wear a shirt that has sayings such as “future mommy”,”bun in oven”, or “all I wanted was a back rub”. There are many great shirts here.
- Send a card with an ultrasound picture.
- Give them a riddle - “what type of bun bakes in an oven, but can’t be eaten?”
- Make fortune cookies with the due date as a special date in the future.
- Play charades!
- Buy two onsies, one pink one blue, and ask everyone which they think will be the right color.
- Start calling your parents Grandma and Grandpa.
- Give out presents, each with a baby item in it.
- Gather everyone for a photo and instead of saying, “Say cheese” have them “Say (your name) is pregnant.”
- Buy pink and blue balloons and place them everywhere (at your desk, at your house, attached to your car).
- Change your voicemail message to include a “date” you will be busy.
And of course, create a “We’re Expecting” web page at Babies Online and send the link to your friends and family!
