Kimberly,
congratulations! I'm a mom of 5 children and every pregnancy goes with deep thoughts, feelings and changes. The last months are important for the relationship between husband and wife. In my last pregnancies I realised this even more. Immediately after birth much attention goes to the new baby, the other children and the household. Romantic feelings are a good break against stress too.

I'm just two weeks away from my due date and have had that very gushy, sweet, pure love thing with my husband since our positive pregnancy test, too! We've both just been giddy and sweet and happy. I had terrible 1st trimester morning sickness and never really got that moody-bad-emotional thing some women experience. It's all been like this funny romantic movie. My husband was also almost speechless at the 12 week screening ultrasound. He teared a little and he doesn't do that! :) Enjoy this intimate and loving time with your husband. My husband and I are very communicative and are talking about our feelings quite a bit in hopes that neither of us feels a loss in our relationship with the addition of the very sweet but needy newborn. We'll accept a decline in all the personal attention we're giving to each other, but hope to keep our tender feelings toward each other intact as our family grows from 2 to 3.
