When my older son was suddenly gone all day, in first grade, I missed him so much. Then it was really quiet when both of my boys were suddenly gone all day. I think I would occasionally put on The Backyardigans and other shows they'd watch when they were home, to comfort myself! Now I miss them when they're at sleepovers...it's too quiet around here. Most of us have years to go but imagine how hard it is to really have an empty nest, when kids got to college! boo-hoo... I agree-letting go is very hard.
