I loved your post!! I think this often…remembering when my mother raised my brother and I as a single mom. I don’t know how many times I have asked her how she did it. And I really appreciated the praise you gave your husband. It seems like there is often only negative attention given daddies and husbands these days, and as a wife to a “bringing out the giggles” expert, amazing helper, and all around great support, I love to hear some positives once in a while! I hope your little one’s ear infection clears up and that you both make some good memories while your husband travels. Thanks again for sharing this!

Thanks R. It’s working so far…too well on the visitor’s front. I haven’t been able to get chores done like I planned because we’re busy playing Scrabble while Mina’s asleep at night! Hahah.

But yes, it can be tough especially when the kid(s) is ill. My husband used to travel a lot – the whole week basically – and was only home on weekends during the first 3 years of our twins life. It was difficult at first but we all learned to cope.
But you seem to have everything planned and worked out. I`m sure you`ll do just fine. All the best.
