I love this!! I am having my first child and I grew up watching Barney. As i got older i could not stand the song and joined in with classmates who made up new versions that would probably had me bent over my mothers knee!! So my household will be anti-barney from the Jump!

Anything becomes annoying if you listen to it too many times in a row... read a preteen who has found the one song that explains their existence right then. I remember when my stepson got his first CD player Santa lacked the foresight to buy more than one CD. ( Actually I think Mrs Claus may have said something along the lines of " He's only over here every other weekend. How many CDs does he need to start with?") After the zillionth time listening to a song it all just becomes noise. Now with our 8 month old infant I find my self humming and whistling tunes that are played on her little toys. How is that for annoying?

I hate to admit it, but my husband and I actually like Thomas the Train and Bob the Builder. Our baby is only a few weeks old, but I'm sure I'd get sick of them when he wants to watch stuff like that non-stop. Good job on losing the TV. Sadly, I think I'm too addicted to mine to do that. :)
