Sheen Has A Scare, Actress Jennifer Newsom is Pregnant
Expectant dad Charlie Sheen surely had some nervous moments this past week when his wife Brooke Mueller started having premature contractions. She was admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles where she was treated and released. The former actress is expecting twins. A spokesperson for the couple was quoted as saying, “Brooke was admitted… with premature contractions, which is not all that uncommon for someone at this stage of pregnancy, especially with twins. She’s fine.”
We can be thankful that so far things seem to be ok. It is a reminder that pregnant women, especially if they are carrying more than one baby, can leave nothing to chance. If they sense something may not be right they should at the very least contact their doctor.
I hope that Brooke and the babies will be fine, and we look forward to the news of their birth. Charlie Sheen has two daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards. Although they have been in a war of words for some time, we hope that all of that can be put aside in the interests of the children.

Actress Jennifer Siebel Newsom has appeared in a number of hit shows including Strong Medicine, Mad Men and Numb3rs. However her she may be facing her most challenging role when she becomes a mom. According to reports, she is pregnant with her first child. Her husband is the mayor of San Francisco Gavin Newsom.
The couple’s spokesman was quoted as saying, “The Mayor and the First Lady are thrilled to be embarking on this adventure together, and they appreciate your good wishes.” The mayor proposed during a Hawaii vacation, and they got marred in July 2008.
Outside of her acting, Newsom has kept herself very busy with other interests. She has her own production company called Girl’s Club Entertainment. She hopes to create projects which put an emphasis on strong female characters. After her graduation from Stanford Business School and Stanford University she did some volunteer work in a children’s hospital in Ecuador. After that she joined Conservation International which saw her working in southern Africa and Latin America.
She is slowly making her way into big screen pictures. Por vida and Tales of an Ancient Empire are two of the four films she has slated for release this year. I hope everything goes well with her first pregnancy and look forward to the good news of the baby’s birth.
