Clay Aiken is a Dad for the First Time

Clay Aiken, a former American Idol contestant, is now the proud father of a baby boy. The baby was born on August 8 to Aiken and 50-year old Jaymes Foster. Foster is a friend of Aiken, who was artificially inseminated to get pregnant for the popular singer.
The baby weighed 6 lbs, 2 oz at birth according to online reports.
Aiken announced the birth of his son on his website with the words: HE?S HERE! Parker Foster Aiken was named after his maternal grandmother, and of course his mother. Clay Aiken?s mom?s middle name is Parker.
The newest addition to Aiken?s family was born on 8/8/08, and get this he was born at 8:08 AM. Now, talk about the numbers lining up perfectly. The significance and alignment of the number 8 is discussed in a blog post, Today is 8/8/8 ? It?s a Lucky Day to Get Married or Have a Baby. Makes one wonder if this was a matter of perfect timing or more man-made as in perfect planning. Whichever is the case, young Parker Foster Aiken came into the world on a special day. Among all of the celebrity babies born in 2008, his will be one birthday not easily forgotten.
It was interesting to see a celeb baby given such a simple name after the run of Suri, Shiloah, Apple and Sunday Rose.
