I tend to agree with Dawn that having a dog or other pet may help a small child from developing a future problem with allergies, and therefore, potentially prevent allergic snoring problems. I also am a snorer (and have been recently diagnosed with sleep apnea), and the only one of the four items that fit me was growing up with pets. However, I do not suffer from any allergies.
