This study made me chuckle. 10 gallons of coffee a day? Yup, that describes me pre-pregnancy. And I know studies are "in general" and not a rule, but it still made me laugh, as it took us only four months to get pregnant--I definitely did not give up coffee until after I conceived.

Sadly, I started up again in the second trimester, but I'm trying to limit intake. (down from approx. 5 cups a day, with at least three lattes a week) to two - three servings of caffeine. (Either one cup of coffee and two teas/sodas, or two cups of coffee).

I actually sprung for a small latte the other day, and the baby was kicking me for about an hour straight. I think she was literally bouncing off the walls in there. I won't do that again!

It's my only vice really, now, and I find it just impossible to give up! I think I'd need a serious detox program to cut caffeine from my diet. Even when the smell made me sick, I still craved a cup!
