Did I come off as a conspiracy theorist? Not taking offense, just curious, because that wasn't my intention. Cynic? Guilty as charged. Conspiracy theorist? Never thought about it. ;) 

Continue feeding your son healthy foods and make sure he's living an active lifestyle, and I'm sure he'll be fine. Aside from genetic factors, it doesn't sound like he's in a high risk group at all!
