The Department of Kinesiology at Occidental College in Los Angeles has recently released a study which says using a stability ball while working out will increase your effectiveness by up to 38% when compared to doing traditional crunches. That means more results in less time for your workouts.
Using a stability ball forces you to use the tiny little core muscles that regular exercises simply can not engage. These muscles are stimulated because they are required for you to maintain your balance while stretching over the ball.
