Everyone gets spammed with refrigerator magnets. From restaurant or real estate advertisements, to your now-grown toddler’s old alphabet magnets. If you’re like me you dump them in the trash and think nothing of it.
A writer at ParentHacks.com came up with a good idea. Instead of throwing away unwanted magnets and contributing to the forever-growing landfill problem, why not simply take a photo of your child or loved one and tape it to the magnet? You could even cut the picture to make it a better fit and use your new personalized family magnet to hold up your refrigerator notes or papers.
Being Green is easier than most people think. Every little idea, when multiplied by thousands or even millions of people, can make a huge impact on our environment.
