<description>Thanks so much for the comment, Lori!

Baking soda and vinegar work really well in the toilet! Let the baking soda fizz up until it is done and then scrub! I dump in the vinegar first right out of the vinegar bottle, but you can spray if you like. I usually put the baking soda in the tub/shower first.

I use straight vinegar and hydrogen peroxide, but you can dilute the vinegar as much as 50/50 (with water) if you prefer.

Also, when storing hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle, note that the bottle must be non-translucent as if light gets to it, it will lose its&#039; effectiveness.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to email me at circleoflifeblog (at) gmail [dot] com.

<description>How interesting that you would write about this today. I use natural or &quot;green&quot; cleaners but I am almost out of them and I have been thinking that I would like to try making my own. Not only would that be cheaper but I too question if they really are non toxic. My daughter uses vinegar and baking soda and she say it works good. Now you mentioned that you put vinegar in a spray bottle. Do you put in straight vinegar or dilute it some? Do you do the same with the peroxide? When you clean with the baking soda, do you sprinkle that on the tub or in the toilet and then spray the vinegar? I would love any information that you have...like the recipee for the cleaning solution that you use. Thank you for sharing!
