I spend a lot of time on the Internet throughout the day. Whether searching for recipes, local stuff to do with the kids, or to do some research for a writing job, I probably spend more time online in a week than some people spend in six months.

I know, it’s sad.

The great thing about spending so much time online is I know where to get all the best information. I have the act of conducting an Internet search down to a science. At least I thought I did, until I made a great discovery: SearchMe.com. It’s not like any other search engine I’ve ever seen.

Here is how it works:

1. Type your query into the search engine.

2. Sift through the results with actual images from the results.

3. Click on the page you want when you find the page you want.

I love that I can preview the page before actually clicking on it, especially since there are so many questionable websites out there. I hate clicking on a link only to find it leads to something that I didn’t even want, so this search engine eliminates that.

Besides, it looks really cool too.
