Elise, wow how crafty and creative. I need to tap into my creative energy. I even asked my brother and an artist friend to take care of decorations!

I always budget well and make huge parties! Ive never spent over five hundred on a party but Ive always had GREAT parties! Oriental trading Co is where I get most of the supplies I need. Some of your smaller local restaraunts are a great place to start for catering. They have great food for a lot cheaper. Cupcakes from Sams or Costco are easier, cheaper and less cleanup. Instead of buying a pinata and games, I like to do something a little different like a table of crafts. I also like to take a picture of each child seperate and stick it in the thank you card. Last year we had a "Cars" birthday I got a wall poster from Party city and took their picture infront of it and put it on a 5x7 piece of foam colorful ones and let them decorate it. It was a blast! GOOD Luck on future parties!
