As first-time-soon-to-be father (what a mouthful!), I find that most books geared to the husbands or fathers tend to be sexist. Most just follow the stereotypes that we a) don’t clean, b) don’t cook, or c) don’t grocery shop. All of which I do 99% of. As for the medical information, I find I can read any typical pregnancy book and understand it and not feel uncomfortable (again, another stereotype).
I’ll have to keep my eyes open for this book to see if it too is sexist or follows the stereotypical views of dads.

This book would be great for my boyfriend. We unexpectedly became pregnant and decided to embark on the journey of parenthood. I’m sure reading information on all the craziness that can happen during pregnancy and how to handle things would greatly ease his mind. Id like to see how much he would benefit from reading this book and how much smoother these remaining seven months will pan out.

I will be a first time father at 49 years old. Excited, yet somewhat nervous. I have a wonderful woman. I want to be the best hubby and dad that I can be. This book looks to be a good starting point for my new adventure.
