Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. Expecting First Child I absolutely whooped when I saw the news because I am (am, not was) an unabashed Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan. I was thrilled when she married the handsome Prinze-charming (pun intended). And now after six years of marriage , they are finally expecting. Freddie Prinze Jr., 32 and Sarah Michelle Gellar, 31 are due some time in the fall. Though the news comes from a credible source, no direct announcement has yet come from the very private couple. I wonder if a play-date will be set up with Satyana Denisof , Buffy alum Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof’s child? Or with ex Angel aka David Boreanza’s child due this September.

Congratulations to my favorite vampire slayer and husband!

I thought Alyson and Sarah don’t talk because Alyson is mad at Sarah for not wanting to continue Buffy. The rest of the cast signed on for more seasons, but Sarah didn’t. Alyson didn’t even go to the Buffy convention with all of her co-stars which include Gellar in May 2008.
