Molly Ringwald Expecting Fraternal Twins!
Once upon a time, there was a Sixteen Candles sweetie, with red hair and freckles, who portrayed all sorts of high school hi-jinks. Wasn’t that just yesterday? This contributor was a fan of Molly Ringwald, and thinks it’s a bit surreal to see her pregnant for the second time, this time with boy/girl twins.
Molly, currently 40 and husband, writer Panio Gianopoulous are expecting the twins in August. The babies will join big sister Meredith Ereni, who is 5 yrs. old. Asked how the pregnancy will affect her role as Anne Juergens in the ABC family hit The Secret Life of The American Teenager, a spokesperson replied that it will be written into the show. So fans of the show, stay tuned, it seems the plot lines will only get more interesting (recall that the plot involves Anne Juergens’ 15 year old daughter’s teenage pregnancy).

Wow, another celeb having twins! I remember watching all of Molly Ringwald’s movies growing up in the 80’s. And I know another mother of twins who actually named her boys Jake and Ryan after “Jake Ryan” from the Sixteen Candles movie!
