Jack Black and Wife Expecting Second Child
Comic actor Jack Black clearly relishes his new role as a dad. He and wife Tanya Haden already have a nineteen-month old son, Samuel, and Black recently confirmed to reporters that a second child is on the way.
At a press junket for his latest film, Be Kind Rewind, Black replied that his wife was expecting, but didn’t offer further info on a due date or gender of the baby.
After meeting in high school, Black, 36, and Haden, 35, went their separate ways and developed their own careers. Haden is a professional cellist who performed in a group with her two sisters. Black and Haden reunited at a mutual friend’s party in 2005 and eloped in March 2006.
In a recent issue of Us Magazine, Black happily discussed fatherhood and life with his new family. “I’m going to enter the Best Daddy Competition, and I’m going to win,” he said.
