Family Guy Star and Husband Welcome Son
Alex Borstein, the voice of Lois Griffin in the irreverent Family Guy, and her husband Jackson Douglas recently had a son. The baby, named Barnaby Borstein Douglas, was born on Monday, September 8 and weighed in at eight pounds, 10 ounces (3.91 kilograms). He is the couple?s first child.
Jackson Douglas is familiar to fans of Gilmore Girls, in which he played Jackson Belleville. Ironically Borstein was slated to play Sookie St. James on Gilmore girls, a character who would later marry his character. However, contractual obligations forced her to back out at the last minute.
Borstein is probably best known for her 9 year stint on the sketch comedy show, Mad TV, with her most memorable character being Ms. Swan. She has also appeared in Little Man and Catwoman. Family Guy currently holds the record for best selling TV show on DVD.
Borstein and Douglas have been married since 1999 and this is the couple?s first child. Only time will tell if little Barnaby has inherited his mom?s gift for comedy.
Borstein and Douglas announced the pregnancy in May. Bornstein, always the comedienne reportedly revealed the pregnancy and sex this way: ??It?s official. I have a teeny tiny penis inside of me right now??
Although there may not be many offers to buy pictures of Barnaby, one of the most recent celebrity babies, he is no less precious. Welcome to the world little man ? congrats to the happy parents.
