Celebrities expecting: Actress Anne Heche and singer Fergie
One of the big news stories for the start of the New Year was the wedding of actor Josh Duhamel and Stacy Ferguson, more popularly known as Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. According to recent reports the even bigger news is that Fergie is pregnant. In fact she revealed this as she and her new husband were about to board a flight at the Los Angeles International Airport. They were on their way to their honeymoon.
They took time out to talk about the wedding, which Fergie described as amazing. When asked about future baby plans Fergie responded, “I’m pregnant with twins.” No doubt many people will be speculating whether that’s why they seemed to get married so quickly. They have been engaged since December 2007.
In a bid to keep the prying eyes of the media away from their nuptials, they kept the wedding’s location a secret. Guests were notified on Saturday morning to meet at a certain location, and then they were chauffeured to the wedding. I guess celebrities have to resort to these measures so they can enjoy these special moments the way they are supposed to.
Expectant dad Duhamel can next be seen onscreen in the sequel to the hit movie Transformers. He will reprise his role as Captain Lennox in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Fergie released her solo album The Dutchess, in September, 2006, and she is currently a spokesperson for MAC Cosmetics.
Anne Heche is expecting a baby as well. The actress and her boyfriend James Tupper are going to have a boy. Heche already has a six year old son named Homer with ex-husband Coleman Laffoon. Heche and Tupper met on the set of their now cancelled series Men in Trees in which their characters were lovers. She can next be seen in the movie Spread, due for release later this year.
