Continuing to make us wonder if anyone famous isn’t pregnant, US Weekly reports Ashlee Simpson and fiance Pete Wentz are expecting a baby. She is said to be due in October.
Jessica Simpson’s younger sister and daughter of famously pushy stage dad Joe Simpson, only announced her engagement to Pete Wentz last Wednesday. Pete is the bassist of punk rock band Fall Out Boy.
In a complete coincidence, Ashlee Simpson’s new album Bittersweet World is released on April 22, and Fall Out Boy’s new Live in Phoenix CD/DVD had it’s international release today. Clearly it would be entirely cynical of me to think that the couple would be seeking extra publicity for any reason, wouldn’t it?
