I come from an Asian where the American way of circumcision is favored. I’m married to a German, live in Switzerland and our twin boys are “uncut” as most European boys are. This caused a surprise when we visited my family with the babies. I guess if it doesn’t bother them, why cut?

The circumcision rate in the UK is not 24%. It’s more like zero – except for those who do it for religions reasons. Boys in Europe are not circumcised, and European men are generally horrified over what US parents do to their babies…

I made an inform choice as to not have my son “cut”. I was 16 at the time. Yes a young mother…i know…my son is now 5 and he can pull his foreskin back and clean it him self and has been sence he was about a year old. I am now preg with my 2nd son. I’m now 21 and i am married with two step children. My husbands son is “cut” and he wants our son to be “cut” also. I have re-researched and i will be making him to read everything so he to can make an informed choice and well My son will not be “cut” anyways OVER MY DEAD BODY…lol but he will have to chance to read everything and make a choice even though my chioce is already made. I have found some great articles about the pro and the cons and everything in between. So hopefuly this wont turn out to be a HUGE fight. Thanks Sherrie

I have no strong opinion one way or the other but I guess if a child is born with it, (and all baby boys are, right?) why mess with it? I guess it’s there for a reason. I don’t think I’d circumcise if I had a boy.
