Wow! What a cute baby! I remember vividly when both my boys' started crawling. With the first one, I couldn't wait for it to happen, but with the 2nd I wanted him to hold off as long as possible, because I knew how everything changed!

Once they're crawling, it's walking, then running...and it always seems to be AWAY from their parents. ;-)

Yes, things will get busier now, but they will also just continue to be more and more rewarding. You'll be tossing a baseball back and forth between the two of you before you know it!

Enjoy every moment! It goes SO fast!

Too cute!

My husband and I have a 9-month old as well. She started crawling and hasn't looked back. Sometimes I wish she would have stayed in the "flower pot" stage longer. It's so peaceful knowing they are safe in one spot. Now we're trying to baby-proof the house and it seems like we're behind the curve almost daily.

Good luck to all the parents out there with crawling youngsters! This is one of the cutest stages of baby-hood!

I remember a little twerp that also didn't crawl when he should have. What he did was swim. He certainly accomplished the same thing as crawling, as I recall. Crawling isn't all it is cracked up to be.

I really enjoyed the story! When a child begins to crawl, you are absolutely amazed, and then you realize that your simple non-crawling days are over. It is full speed ahead! : )
