		<description>The new generation of moms in Germany are indeed lax in terms of timelines for potty training, much to the chagrin of grandmas. The current philosophy is to give children time, that each child is different and will learn to do potty at different times. Therefore, no pressure. This is reflected by the fact that being potty-trained is not a prerequisite anymore to go to kindergarten at age 3. This wasn't like that until a few years ago. I know many friends whose kids weren't "dry" even at 4 years old.
