Believe it or not, no people are more self-critical and sensitive about this issue than the Germans themselves. And it doesn't stop there. For example, Germans are shocked that kids elsewhere are christened "Rommel", another notorious war character. But Rubeus sounds cool as long as people don't expect him to grow to a half-giant :-) Actually, nobody would name their son Adolf in Europe since the second World War.
