Just a side note – my son never took a bottle, and despised all brands of formula no matter how many times we tried over the last several months to give it to him. I didn’t mind, but it’s making me desperate now, because I’m concerned about nutrients. In the meantime, he’s getting fruit juice (half water) with the added veggies and nutrients and minerals.

THANK YOU! I appreciate your candor on this subject. My 11 month old has become so disinterested in nursing (which is fine – we were both ready) that I have virtually dried up. He won’t take milk, but am considering trying some of the things you have suggested. We’re going on day two of NO milk, but only a tiny bit of cheese. We’ll get there. I know I’m not alone in this, but dang, it really helps when there is someone else out there with the same sense of humor as mine. Thanks again.
