bringingbabywork.jpgMore and more companies are allowing their employees to bring their infant children with them to the workplace. This article in Time magazine reports that the newly established Parenting in the Workplace Institute lists more than 70 U.S. companies that allow babies at work, and organization founder Carla Moquin says she is constantly including more.

The article reports that a research study showed that while workers at baby-friendly workplaces often anticipated disaster, there was rarely a negative effect on coworkers or productivity. In fact, having babies around could actually boost employee morale.

What do you think? Would you want to bring your infant to work with you? Or would you want to work with someone else’s child in the next cubicle?
