Vlasic Pickles is having a pretty awesome contest to celebrate National Pickle Month. They are hoping to name the official Vlasic Stork Baby of 2008. The winner of this contest will:

• Be named the official Stork Baby on a morning talk show June 20
• Win a $20,000 US Savings Bond
• Win a trip to New York (for baby and family)
• Win a years supply of Free Vlasic Pickles
• Also be eligible to win an additional $5,000 for renaming their baby’s middle name to “Crunch”

Click here to enter the contest. Contest ends May 31st - Entrants must register, submit a photo and a 50- to 100-word essay describing why they love the crunch and flavor of Vlasic Pickles and why their baby should be The Vlasic Stork Baby.

If that’s not your jar of pickles, maybe you would like to try and enter a second contest sponsored by Vlasic. In this contest, Vlasic is looking to bring its mascot Stork character to life. You will be required to submit an essay of 50 words or less explaining why you love the crunch and flavor of Vlasic Pickles and how you could breathe life into the stork character with your personality.
