Oscar-award nominee Toni Collette (best supporting actress for her role in ?The Sixth Sense?) has given birth to her first child, CNN reports. Collette and her musician husband, Dave Galafassi, welcomed their daughter, Sage Florence, into the world last Wednesday, 9 January.
Previously Collette had announced her pregnancy, noting that she had accepted 3 motherhood roles. ?It is strange the last three films I’ve done I have been pregnant. I’m just like, ?What is the universe trying to tell me?? But I think everything happens when it’s meant to.?
Collette is part of a band, The Finish, where her husband also plays. She is also a known staunch environmentalist.
