Actress Poppy Montgomery Welcomes a Son

Poppy Montgomery, who stars in the hit CBS crime drama Without a Trace, and her actor-boyfriend Adam Kaufman welcomed a son on Dec . 23. Jackson Phillip Kaufman was born in Los Angeles and weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces, according to Montgomery’s publicist.
Many fans of Without a Trace suspected a real-life pregnancy when Montgomery’s character, Samantha Spade, announced she was pregnant earlier this season. Montgomery’s character had long since told colleagues that she never intended to have children. On the show, the father of Spade’s child is a bartender she had a one-night stand with, played appropriately by Montgomery’s real-life boyfriend, Kaufman.
The new parents met several years ago on the set of an independent movie and now live together in Los Angeles.
