When we last saw the popular character “Pam” from the Meet the Parents/Meet the Fockers movies, she was trying to hide the fact that she was expecting from her overbearing father, played by Robert DeNiro.

Life often imitates art, especially in Hollywood, and today several popular celebrity gossip blogs reported that actress Teri Polo, 38, welcomed a daughter named Bayley on Thursday.

This is Polo’s first child with boyfriend, musician Jamie Wollam. She has a five-year old son from a previous marriage.

Polo joins the ever-growing list of celebrities who have given birth in the past year, including Katie Holmes, Jennifer Garner, Gwen Stefani, Jill Hennessey, Keri Russell and Tori Spelling. The celebrity baby boom will continue in the New Year, with Halle Berry, Jessica Alba and Christina Aguilera joining the ranks of motherhood.
